We operate from a secure category II 24hr Monitoring Station BS5979:2000, (the code of practice for remote centres receiving signals from security systems). A category II Monitoring Station means that everything conforms to strict guidelines, from the thickness of walls to the barring and shuttering of ventilation outlets. There is a separate coms room, with separate air conditioning to keep equipment cool. In the operations room, flat-screen technology is used for its low power consumption. There is a dual telephone supply so that if an exchange is lost, the station does not lose the facility to route to a different supplier. Along similar lines in a separate room there is a UPS (uninterrupted power supply) in case of mains power failure. Further, we have a backup central station that can take over the monitoring in case of an emergency - BS5979 contingency plan.




Alarm and CCTV Monitoring Service

All secure use a range of transmission systems including ADPRO from Vision Systems and IMIGIX. Using Remote Signalling Technology has allowed companies with a controlled security budget the ability to have 24hr Security presence. The range of capabilities start from speaking on a tannoy system to opening and closing barriers to setting and unsetting sensors on cameras. This is just a fraction of what our systems can achieve.

 

ADPRO is an established professional remote video and audio system which has the ability to monitor PTZ, Multiplexers, VCR and store video images to hard disc to enable data to be reviewed at a later date. ADPRO also provides a history of operator actions and responses.

 

IMIGIX represents a new concept in professional remote video and audio monitoring, enabling high quality motion video and audio to be received and transmitted. IMIGIX has the capability to give full control of Dome Cameras, PTZ's, Multiplexers and VCR's and indeed any other items of controllable equipment.
